i am finally in love with the world
As part of the 2024 Scarlet Mela Festival of the Arts (SMFA) and led by Ranice, we presented this piece as a response to the integration of Taiji and Theatre / Dance
Inspired by the heart sutra, this piece was created with the inspiration of trying to understand what “emptiness” meant. The devising process led to the team observing how a flower dies and creating a movement based theatrical piece that incorporated elements of time, death and love.
The devising continues in June 2024 where this piece will be presented once more as part of the Artist-In-Residence programme with the Intercultural Theatre Institute (ITI)
